Hannah Parker's Website (of sorts - bit of a mish mash really)

Well - there was a bit long enough on Sunday for the grass to be dry enough to mow - so that can go in the calendar as the first mowing of the year. In fact it was dry and sunny for long enough for Lucy to think that maybe she should find her summer clothes. The co-op is optimistically displaying vast quantities of disposable BBQs.

Lucy planted some runner beans - but the seeds were last years so i'm not sure if they'll come up. She helped me repot the sunflowers and we've moved them into the unprotected outdoors - so we'll see how long they last - I realise with horror that I should have put slug pellets out as I saw a snail heading towards them first thing this morning.

After the sunflowers we repotted the little chilli plants - the chilli, courgettes and cucumbers are all still on the window ledge - which was providing a bit too much temptation for Sweep this morning as he jumped up and knocked a load over.

And then - at about  4.30pm the skies clouded over. A sea mist rolled in. rain - then hailstones then thunder and lightening.

The Red Baron has moved on to its new owner and the garage is now a spacious place.

Eddie & Lucy are off to the Pyramids to do some swimming and Sweep is sitting in the laundry basket.

It is actually SNOWING in Southsea. Proof from my garden...
